Hometown: Gifford, IL
Major: Accounting (graduated with Bachelor’s degree in 2003)
Why I Joined DXP: “I joined because I overheard Chassie and Kara (Alpha alums) trying to recruit someone else and I butted in. Then I went to the informational/interview and decided it sounded good. Turned out much better than expected.”
Positions: Rachel served as VP of Alpha Chapter when she was active.

Occupation: Senior Accountant for the Division of Information Technology at University of Wisconsin-Madison
Additional Education: Earned Master’s degree in Accounting in 2006
Family: Husband and 2 sons (Vincent and Lucas) and a cat
Interests & Activities: Rachel volunteers as President of her son’s PTO (Parent Teacher Organization). She is also into knitting and quilting!
Involvement in DXP: Rachel served on the Delta Xi Phi National Board for 5 years (1 year as a regional advisor and 4 years as treasurer). She also served as treasurer of the National Multicultural Greek Council (NMGC). After graduation Rachel stayed active with the Alpha Chapter until she moved to Madison, Wisconsin. She still attends as many chapter events for Alpha Chapter and Eta Associate Chapter (as they’re the closest) as she can manage. She tries to help organize alumnae get-togethers and still loves to chat with sisters about any of the questions/issues they face. She even attended a trip to New Orleans with a group of other DXP alums!
