Regional Positions Available for Alumnae

When women become official members of Delta Xi Phi, they become sisters for life. After they graduate, some sisters go on to pursue various careers and have their own families, while other sisters want to also remain active in DXP, watching it grow and helping future sisters. These sisters make up the National Board, Regional Councils, Alumnae Association, and even part of the Connections magazine staff.

Regional Advisors serve as the primary liaison between their chapters and the National Board. Some of their responsibilities include maintaining constant communication with chapters in their region and National Board, making sure all chapters submit their reports on time and that all are submitted, planning meetings and retreats in their region, acting as a mediator to chapters who may have internal issues, etc.

DXP is currently seeking for an alumna to represent the West Region as their Regional Advisor. If you are interested and reside in the West Region, contact and for a full description of the position.

The Regional Councils were established last year to help Regional Advisors manage their regions as they keep on growing and to improve communications between chapters and the advisor/council. Each region is divided into several districts made up of several chapters that are somewhat close in proximity. Each district has its own District Representative. The councils are also made up of Expansion Committee Representatives in their respective regions.

Currently, there are several districts primarily in the Midwest Region that are in need of a District Representative. Each representative reports directly to the Regional Advisor. Their responsibilities include:

  • To represent the chapters, associate chapters and their members contained in the District
  • Ensure that the needs and wishes of their constituency is represented to the Regional Council
  • Assist in the collection and maintenance of accurate records for chapters and associate chapters within the District
  • Maintain frequent contact with local entities in their District
  • Assist the Regional Advisor in completion of her duties as required

If you are a DXP alumnae, currently reside in the Midwest region, and are interested in serving as a District Representative, contact
